6 New Sexual Assault Allegations Against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Including Claims from a Minor, Filed in Civil Lawsuits

On October 14, 2024, a total of six plaintiffs lodged civil lawsuits against Sean “Diddy”Combs in Manhattan, New York, bringing forward allegations of rape and sexual assault. Among the accusers are four men—one of whom was just 16 at the time—and two women, all of whom are filing anonymously.

According to NBC News, these individuals mark the first group of what is anticipated to be around 120 claimed victims, as announced by Tony Buzbee, a lawyer based in Texas, earlier this month. This case represents a significant moment as it is the first time Combs has faced legal action from someone who was a minor at the time of their alleged assault.

The lawsuits, which name both the rapper and various associated businesses, seek damages that have not been specified. These recent allegations come on the heels of Combs’ arrest on September 16, where he was indicted by a grand jury on multiple charges—racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution purposes. He has entered a plea of not guilty.

Details of the lawsuits against Diddy span incidents from 1995 to 2021

The newly filed lawsuits, spearheaded by attorney Tony Buzbee, include claims of misconduct occurring as far back as 1995 up to 2021. Many of the accusations mirror previous allegations against Combs, suggesting he used promises of fame and success to draw victims to parties where they were subsequently drugged and assaulted.

During a press conference on October 1, Buzbee disclosed that he represents 120 additional victims, including 25 minors. He stated that several of these individuals were intoxicated prior to their assaults. Furthermore, Buzbee hinted at a forthcoming revelation of individuals who may have facilitated Diddy’s alleged actions, noting the need for careful consideration before naming any parties involved.

Prior to submitting the six lawsuits, Buzbee shared his observations with NBC News:

“An overarching theme here is that Sean Combs operates under the belief that he can act without regard to anyone else’s rights or feelings.”

One of the six complainants, a North Carolinian man, recounted his experience from 1998 when he was invited to Diddy’s “white party”in the Hamptons at just 16 years old. He alleges that during a conversation about his aspiration to break into music, Diddy compelled him to expose himself and subsequently groped him, stating the incident has caused him ongoing humiliation and shame.

Another lawsuit comes from a woman in New York, outlining a 1995 incident where Diddy allegedly assaulted and raped her in a bathroom during a party for Biggie Smalls’ “One More Chance”video release. The suit claims that post-assault, Diddy threatened her with harm if she disclosed the incident, saying:

“You better not tell anyone about this, or you will disappear.”

A separate lawsuit filed by a woman who was a college freshman in 2004 accuses Diddy of raping her in a secured hotel room after she and a friend were invited to a party. She claims he intoxicated them and pressured her friend into performing oral sex, threatening their lives if they did not agree.

Forbes reports on another accusation from a New Jersey man who claims he worked security at a 2006 “white party”where he was reportedly served drinks laced with ecstasy and other substances. He alleges that he was forcibly pushed into a van where he experienced sexual assault at the hands of Combs.

Another complainant from Ohio alleges that he was assaulted by Diddy in 2008 while working at Macy’s in Herald Square, where Combs allegedly assaulted him and forced him into performing oral sex.

The latest lawsuit originates from a Georgia man who claims to have been drugged at a management company event in New York in 2021, resulting in a state of disorientation and paralysis, during which he alleges multiple men, including Diddy, assaulted him.

Diddy’s legal representatives have firmly rejected all allegations. In their statement released on Monday evening, they stated:

“The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s flurry of lawsuits are clearly attempts to draw media attention. Mr. Combs and his legal team are fully confident in their factual basis, legal position, and the integrity of the judicial system. Ultimately, the truth will come to light: Mr. Combs has never engaged in sexual assault with anyone—be it adults, minors, men, or women.”

This statement also referenced the hotline number that Buzbee had publicized during his press conference.

Currently, after being denied bail on two occasions, Diddy is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center, with his trial slated to commence on May 5, 2025.
