“Diddy will secure bail by his next court appearance”- 50 Cent speculates on Instagram

During a September 26, 2024, interview with Enthusiast Report’s Lincoln Salazar, 50 Cent discussed his forthcoming documentary titled Diddy Do It. He asserted that “he did it,”emphasizing that he had been openly critical of Diddy long before his arrest.

50 Cent also commented on the controversy surrounding Diddy’s White Parties that have emerged following the arrest. He clarified that he had not attended or participated in those gatherings. He suggested that many in the celebrity community were silent on the situation as they had “partaken to some extent.”

On October 8, 2024, 50 Cent shared his thoughts regarding the chances of Diddy being released on bail in a post, which has since been removed.

Following Diddy’s arrest on September 16, 2024, he was held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, with bail requests previously denied by two judges.

In his now-deleted Instagram statement, 50 Cent expressed confidence that Diddy would secure bail, stating:

“Diddy gonna make bail his next court date, so all this s**t y’all been saying, keep the same energy. Don’t you even try to take that post down!”

On the same day, PEOPLE reported that Diddy’s legal team had filed for bail for the third time. Diddy’s attorney, Alexander A.E. Shapiro, submitted documents to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, seeking the rapper’s release until the legal proceedings commence.

According to court documents reviewed by PEOPLE:

“[…] [Combs] was not released pending trial, even though he offered to comply with restrictive conditions that would have prevented any conceivable risk of flight or danger. .. [The court] rejected a plainly sufficient bail package. .. [and] violated its obligations under the Bail Reform Act. ..”

After his arrest, Diddy was indicted by a grand jury on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and interstate prostitution. Nevertheless, he has entered a plea of not guilty to all allegations, with his next court appearance slated for October 10, 2024.
