On October 18, BLACKPINK’s Rosé combined forces with Bruno Mars to launch a catchy pop track titled “APT.”The announcement of this solo project came just a day prior, following Rosé’s three-year hiatus. Earlier in 2021, she had unveiled her singles “On the Ground”and “Gone.”

The inspiration for “APT”stems from a Korean drinking game known as Apartment. Despite initial doubts regarding the song’s theme, Rosé shared her feelings in a Vogue interview:

“I remember going home [from the studio] kind of freaked out. Is this OK, that I’ve written a song about a drinking game?”

Upon release, the song resonated well with audiences. Set against a pink backdrop, Rosé performs while Bruno plays the drums, harmonizing with her:

“It’s whatever (Whatever), it’s whatever (Whatever)/ It’s whatever (Whatever) you like (Woo)/ Turn this apateu into a club (Uh-huh, uh-huh)/ I’m talkin’ drink, dance, smoke, freak, party all night (Come on)/ Geonbae, geonbae, girl, what’s up? Oh-oh, oh.”

The song made its debut in the series’ fourth episode in June 2023 and represents Jennie’s first single outside of BLACKPINK since her solo debut with “Solo.”Additionally, she ventured into acting, portraying a background dancer named Dyann.

“One of the Girls”features a blend of slow tempos, powerful bass, and gentle synths, creating an emotional yet seductive atmosphere. Alongside Depp and The Weeknd, Jennie delivers memorable lyrics:

5) “SG”with DJ Snake, Lisa, and Others

In 2021, Lisa collaborated with DJ Snake, along with Meghan Thee Stallion and Ozuna, for the track “SG.”Following her solo hit “LALISA,”this project showcased her rising global presence.
