Despite this, James did not disclose his involvement in procuring the drugs that led to her overdose.

According to Sarah’s mother, Tina Harris, James Ryan allegedly introduced Sarah to these drugs to manipulate her. She recounted previously encountering her daughter, slurring her words months before her death, as reported by CBS.

On two occasions before Sarah’s demise, Tina discovered drug vials and other questionable medical paraphernalia in her daughter’s room. All items were photographed by Sarah’s sister, Rachel, and this evidence eventually contributed to the charges against Ryan.

Ryan, divorced with children and nearly twice Sarah’s age, remained fixated on her. He also offered Sarah a job as his assistant and showered her with lavish gifts. CBS indicated that Ryan told her mother:

‘I used to see Sarah walking the neighborhood and playing at the park with her friends…..I found out she worked in the toy store across the street at this little shopping area….So I would take my kids there so I could see her and I remember when she dressed up as Elsa from ‘Frozen’ and she looked just like Elsa.’

During James Ryan’s trial, incriminating messages between him and Sarah surfaced, indicating his drug administration:

“I can give you an injection … the anxiety will be completely gone in 6 seconds (sic) … it will work. Let’s try it…..”

In a separate text, Ryan told Sarah:

“If you wake up … I just went to change, after I gave you Ketamine just now …”

These conversations provided evidence that Ryan was supplying Sarah with drugs, contributing to her fatal overdose.
