4 family members of The Rock and Roman Reigns who are not competing at WrestleMania 40
The Anoa’i wrestling dynasty, consisting of The Rock and Roman Reigns, has a long-standing history of performing at numerous WrestleMania events. Their dominance and impact have made them a staple on ‘Mania shows, in addition to their recognizable names.
As of now, only The Rock, Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Naomi have confirmed matches for WrestleMania 40. Although there is a possibility for changes and the event has had unplanned matches in the past, it seems that not all members of the Anoa’i family will be participating in this weekend’s event.
We will examine four relatives of The Rock and Roman Reigns’ family who will not be participating at The Grandest Stage of Them All this weekend.
#4. Nia Jax’s Upcoming Absence from WrestleMania XL and Its Impact on Her Career
Despite starting the year strong, Nia Jax, who is the cousin of The Rock and Roman Reigns, was unable to secure a Women’s World Championship victory against Rhea Ripley in her home country of Perth at the Elimination Chamber: Perth PLE.
Following her three-way feud with Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, The Irresistible Force was set to compete at WrestleMania. However, it seems that the company has chosen to temporarily pause her involvement and instead schedule her for a later event when they have more definitive plans for her character.
#3. Solo Sikoa’s Potential Role in Supporting The Rock and Roman Reigns at Ringside
Solo Sikoa stands out on this list as the sole individual with the highest likelihood of making an appearance at WrestleMania, even without being scheduled for a match. Surprisingly, he could possibly play a role in both of the main events.
Ever since his debut on the main roster in 2022, Solo Sikoa has consistently prioritized Roman’s success as champion, such as at WrestleMania 39 where he faced off against Cody Rhodes. Although he will not be participating in this year’s event, he may still show his support for The Rock and Roman Reigns in their respective matches and participate in other activities.
#2. Ava’s busy schedule during WrestleMania weekend
Ava, the daughter of Dwayne Johnson, is the latest member of the Anoa’i family to join WWE TV. However, unlike her family members, she is currently working as the General Manager of NXT, rather than appearing on the main roster.
It is highly improbable that she will make an appearance at WrestleMania 40, as she is set to be occupied with NXT Stand & Deliver earlier in the day. Interestingly, there have been hints that she has extended an invitation to someone for the Countdown show of the developmental brand.
#1. The Impact of Rikishi at WrestleMania 40
Despite not appearing in WWE since 2020 and holding only a Legends contract, Rikishi stays current with his family’s activities and continues to actively support them.
The renowned Hall of Famer has been known to hint at joining The Bloodline saga. This may finally come to fruition, as his twin sons, Jimmy and Jey Uso, are scheduled to face each other in a singles match at WrestleMania. It is possible that Rikishi could make an appearance during the match to add a more personal touch to the feud.
