According to a report by Newsen on October 23, 2024, BTS members Kim Seok-jin and j-hope have made notable comebacks on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart. Jin’s track “Super Tuna”has secured the No. 1 spot while j-hope’s solo rendition of “On The Street”claimed the runner-up position, marking a triumphant return for both artists on the American music scene.

Furthermore, “Super Tuna”has reappeared on the Billboard Global (Excl. US) at No. 87 and the Billboard Global 200 at No. 159. This extended version of the original, released on October 11, 2024, adds new verses to the catchy 2021 song that first debuted on Jin’s 29th birthday, December 4, 2021. The original track has garnered over 136 million streams on Spotify, showcasing its lasting popularity.

Jin recently added two additional verses to the song’s one-minute duration, replacing the previous version. In other news, j-hope was officially discharged from military duty on October 17, 2024, and his fans have been actively streaming his March 2024 release “On The Street”from his second solo album, “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1.”This single, featuring J. Cole, initially premiered on March 3, 2023.

The BTS ARMY celebrated the achievements of both members, with one fan cleverly coining the term “2SEOK world domination,”inspired by the “Seok”in both Jin’s and j-hope’s names.

Some fans humorously commented on Jin’s reluctance for them to stream “Super Tuna,”which he described as merely a “fish song.”The whimsical track narrates his whimsical aspiration of catching a tuna or mackerel, making it a light-hearted side project.

“YES! World domination is coming in 2025!”a fan exclaimed.

“I apologize, Seokjin, but you keep releasing hit after hit. It’s not our fault,”another fan remarked.

“Let’s keep this from Jin, as it might overwhelm him, but congratulations, Seokjin!”a different fan added.

Support for both idols surged as fans hailed their dominance on the Billboard charts following their military service.

“This is just the beginning of 2seok’s dominance,”one fan stated.

“Yay! 2Seok is back and ready to conquer,”another fan expressed.

“This is so well deserved! Proud of you, kings!”yet another fan declared.
