Despite a strong performance from Fred VanVleet with 22 points and six assists, it was Jalen Green who once again led the Rockets to victory with a game-high 34 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Jabari Smith Jr. also contributed with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists. The Rockets were able to keep up with the Warriors, who defeated the Charlotte Hornets on Friday evening.

Houston Rockets Playoff Standings and Matchups
The Utah Jazz suffered a loss to the Houston Rockets, bringing the Rockets’ season record to 38-35.
Despite the regular season nearing its end, the Rockets have managed to captivate NBA fans with their impressive 11-game winning streak. They currently sit just one game behind the Golden State Warriors for the No. 10 spot in the play-in tournament bracket, adding to the excitement of their performance.
Despite the recent success of the Warriors, Houston remains in contention for dethroning them. This can be attributed to the impressive performances of Jalen Green, who is determined to succeed, and Jabari Smith Jr., who has stepped up in the absence of the injured Alperen Sengun.
Upcoming Houston Rockets Playoff Schedule
Despite being one of the top teams in the NBA, the Houston Rockets will face a challenging schedule for the rest of the regular season in contrast to the Golden State Warriors. The Rockets have been dealt the fifth-hardest schedule, while the Warriors have the seventh-least difficult schedule out of all 30 teams.
In order for Houston to catch up with the Warriors, they must continue winning. The upcoming game on Apr. 4 between the two teams is crucial in the race for the final play-in tournament spot.
The Rockets will also play against the Minnesota Timberwolves, LA Clippers, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat and Dallas Mavericks twice.
Houston Rockets playoff hopes: Can they overtake the Warriors?
Despite the Golden State Warriors potentially having an easier schedule, the Houston Rockets are currently performing at a higher level in the Western Conference and have a strong likelihood of catching up to them. Even though the Warriors may face non-playoff teams, there is still a possibility of them losing.
