Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 APAC RMR: Format, Teams, and Venue
Event Format
The tournament will kick off with a series of matches played in a best-of-one (Bo1) format, with all participating teams starting in the Upper Brackets. This event employs a double elimination format, allowing teams a second opportunity to remain in contention even after an initial loss, as they drop into the Lower Brackets.
As the competition progresses, the six teams—four from the Upper Brackets and two from the Lower Brackets—will advance to the RMR Playoffs. Here, they will compete in best-of-three (Bo3) matches to determine which three teams will earn their tickets to the Shanghai Major.
