The nominations for the 2024 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA), recognized as Asia’s premier content awards ceremony, have been unveiled. The nomination list emphasizes the continued supremacy of South Korean dramas and entertainment shows within the regional content industry.
CJ ENM, a prominent force in Korean entertainment, has garnered nominations in eight categories this year. The company, celebrated for its past victories with acclaimed titles such as Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Our Blues, Yumi’s Cells, and My Boyfriend is Better, is once again in the spotlight for its exceptional productions.
On September 26, the AACA organizers announced the list of nominees, with several works from CJ ENM being highlighted. Dramas such as Queen of Tears and Lovely Runner received nominations and were declared the 2024 AACA National Winners.
In addition, entertainment programs like Apartments 404, Transfer Romance 3, and Street Woman Fighter 2 were also selected for their outstanding storytelling, cinematography, and entertainment quality, showcasing South Korea’s significant impact on the Asian content market.

Celebrating Excellence in Asian Content: Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA)
The Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) is Asia’s leading content awards ceremony, celebrating the best in television and digital media throughout the region. Each year, submissions come from a range of countries including Singapore, the Philippines, China, Indonesia, Australia, and Vietnam, all vying for recognition in multiple categories.
The AACA awards ceremony is held annually in December in Singapore, reviewing entries from 17 Asia-Pacific countries, which include Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. A rigorous screening process is employed to select the top contenders.
Outstanding works are recognized in areas such as direction, writing, special effects, and OTT programming. The AACA plays a vital role in spotlighting excellence in creative content across Asia.
The winners of the main awards will be unveiled during the 2024 AACA ceremony, set to occur on December 3 and 4, 2024, in Singapore.
