The official account on X (formerly known as Twitter) unveiled the first project, which entails the broadcast of both seasons of the anime, scheduled to commence in April 2025. As part of the celebration, a vibrant visual has been released featuring the entire main cast holding signs that signify the 10-year milestone. While the remaining two projects have yet to be disclosed, fans can look forward to more details in the future.

The Assassination Classroom manga debuted in July 2012 in Weekly Shonen Jump, running for a total of 180 chapters compiled into 21 volumes. It has made a significant impact on sales, surpassing 25 million copies sold by 2016. Given that this figure is dated, it is likely that current sales figures are even higher.

The manga also includes a spin-off that was serialized in Saikyo Jump from October 2015 to 2019.

The anime adaptation first aired on January 9, 2015, consisting of 22 episodes directed by Seiji Kishi and produced by Lerche. Kazuki Morita contributed as the character designer, while Makoto Uezu served as the lead scriptwriter. The second season premiered on January 7, 2016, featuring 25 episodes.
