“100 Days Until Release” – Fans Excited as Kid Cudi Confirms Lead Single from Upcoming January 2025 Album

Nearly 10 months since the release of his ninth studio album, INSANO, Kid Cudi is teasing a new project expected to launch in 2025.

Even though he previously declared a hiatus from music to concentrate on his film and TV endeavors, Cudi recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to share that he’s in the process of developing a new album, with the lead single set to debut on his 41st birthday next year.

Much like the unveiling of INSANO earlier this year in January, the new single is likely to be released at the beginning of 2025.

This upcoming track will follow his recent singles from The Soundtrack of Moon Man, including the latest release, The Moon Man Survives, which just hit streaming platforms today.

The anticipation for more music from Kid Cudi has skyrocketed following his tweet, with fans actively taking to social media to share their excitement. One eager supporter was even seen counting down the days until the rapper’s birthday.

Additional reactions poured in from enthusiastic fans, showcasing their admiration for Cudi and appreciating the prospect of yet another album despite his previous announcement to take a break.

“Holy sh*t, another album??? You’re on fire, homie! Really looking forward to it!”- one fan exclaimed.

“Aren’t you burning out? You’ve released 2 albums this year, and they were both amazing!”- another user queried.

“I can’t wait to experience the new vibe, big bro! This news is incredibly exciting!”- a devoted fan commented.

“ANOTHER ALBUM??!?!? OH LFGGGGGGG I CAN’T WAIT!”- a user shared.

“Not only do we have the same birthday!!! Aquarius gang. This is an epic birthday gift; new jams from one of the legends!”- a fan mentioned.

“What’s the album called?”- one user asked.

“I’m so eager for this new single; your birthday will be one of the greatest days for you and me!”- another fan expressed.

Many fans speculated whether Cudi might debut some of his new material during next year’s festival circuit, expressing hope for a revised schedule for his canceled “INSANO World Tour”.

“OHHHHHHHHH, will the tour feature this new era??? WE’RE READY TO RAGE! Can’t wait to unite the Cudfam live! Thanks for everything; you’re a true inspiration!”- a fan excitedly proclaimed.

“Coachella 2025”- another user suggested.

Kid Cudi has yet to announce new dates for the “INSANO: ENGAGE THE RAGE”World Tour

Back in April, Kid Cudi canceled his “INSANO World Tour”after suffering a foot injury during a last-minute live performance at the 2024 Coachella Festival.

The incident occurred when he leapt offstage to connect with fans near the barricade, resulting in a calcaneus injury that required him to be carried out of the venue.

Following this, Kid Cudi took to social media to explain the severity of his injury, stating he wouldn’t be able to heal in time and would prefer to return to the stage in optimal condition.

He shared the disappointment behind halting the “INSANO: ENGAGE THE RAGE”world tour, which was set to begin on June 28, 2024.

“We will announce new tour dates as soon as we can, and I can’t wait to connect with you all and have a great time. I’m truly sorry, fam, and I greatly appreciate the never-ending support. I’m really bummed about this, just as I’m sure you are, but I will return. That’s a promise.”- Kid Cudi shared.

After the cancellation, tickets for Cudi’s world tour were refunded to fans within 30 days, and he has not yet officially communicated any rescheduled dates for “INSANO: ENGAGE THE RAGE.”

The tour was originally meant to run from April 2024 to November 2025, featuring performances throughout North America and significant European cities, with special appearances from Jaden Smith, Pusha T, and Earthgang.

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) notes that recovery from a calcaneus injury can vary significantly from three weeks to a year, depending on its severity.

While many are optimistic that new dates might be announced for late 2025, Kid Cudi and his team have not released any information regarding the postponed world tour.
