Upcoming Special Presentation for Zenless Zone Zero
HoYoVerse has officially announced the airing of the 1.7 Zenless Zone Zero Special Program, which is set to take place on April 11, 2025. Notably, this event is distinct from the Xbox Spotlight showcase, which will also occur on the same day. The timing is as follows: the Special Program will air at 3:30 AM PT / 6:30 AM ET, while the Xbox Spotlight is scheduled for 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Gamers can catch both events live on Twitch and YouTube.
What to Expect from the 1.7 Special Program
The upcoming presentation promises to cover the immediate updates to the game, and it is expected to be the last showcase before the highly anticipated Season 2, version 2.0 launch. Viewers can look forward to new storylines, event quests, and the sharing of a Polychrome code during the stream.
Character Reveals: Meet Vivian and Hugo
Two new characters from the 1.7 update have already been unveiled: Vivian and Hugo. Both characters belong to a newly introduced faction known as the Mockingbird, which was first teased in version 1.6. Vivian stands out particularly for being one of the few Ether-type characters, adding a layer of uniqueness to her abilities. While HoYoVerse has yet to officially confirm their rankings, it is speculated that both might be S-rank units, with one debuting in the first half of the upcoming banners and the other in the latter half.
Focus of the Xbox Spotlight
The Xbox Spotlight is anticipated to concentrate primarily on the Xbox Series X version of Zenless Zone Zero. HoYoVerse has indicated that “new updates”will also be discussed, which could provide a recap or additional insights from the earlier Special Program for those tuning into the Xbox-specific broadcast. As of now, no official length for the stream has been announced, leading to some uncertainty about what additional content might be included.
Availability and Future Updates
